(06/26/07) CALGARY, ALBERTA – The PM
Motorsports team is preparing their Dynamic Concrete Pumping”
sponsored 1968 Camaro for the huge “EATON Electrical” presented
“Fast and Furious on the Fraser”. This event features a 16 car
field featuring some of the fastest Pro Mods in North America and is
the second race on the 2007 West Coast Pro Mod Association series.
Heavy hitters such as Carl Spiering, IHRA Super star Danny Rowe,
Ross Hogenson, and many more are expecting to run career best times
this weekend on the sea level track in Mission, British Columbia.
Joe Delehay and his 2006 WCPMA Championship
winning team are expecting Career best numbers as well this weekend.
“All the teams are going to be running their best this weekend”
says Joe, “We have the car and the team to be a top car this
weekend”. At last year’s Pro Mod event in Mission, Delehay and
the PM Motorsports team qualified #1 with a 6.20 @ 230 mph.“Last
year we were in the Dodge Viper” Delehay said. “We ran our
career best at Mission with that car, and this year we have a brand
new Tim McAmis built car which in early testing has proven to be
quicker already". Mission Raceway Park is one of the best
racing surfaces in North America and with the track at or near sea
level its no wonder Mission is home to Canada’s quickest and
fastest pro mod time slip which was done at this event last year.
Not only is this event very important when it
comes to the 2007 WCPMA Championship, but the team will also use
this event to prepare the car for the IHRA Rocky Mountain Nationals
in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. “The Eaton Electrical event is only
the second time in competition with our new car” said Delehay,
The EATON presented “Fast and Furious on the
Fraser” Pro Modified event will take place at Mission Raceway in
British Columbia Saturday and Sunday June 30 – July 1.
