The 2007 West Coast Pro Mod Association Season
is almost half way complete, and currently sitting in the number
five position in the WCPMA 2007 points chase is Joe Delehay with his
beautiful Tim McAmis built 1968 Pro Mod Camaro. Delehay hopes to get
some points this weekend to get closer to the number one spot this
weekend in front of what is expected to be an outstanding crowd in
Calgary, Alberta.
July 21 - 22 will be the third race on the West
Coast Pro Mod schedule is at Race City Motorsports Park in Calgary,
Alberta, Canada. Calgary is were Delehay and his PM Motorsports Inc.
team call home. "We are very excited to come home and race here
in Calgary infront of our family and friends" said Delehay.
Calgary is an important track to Delehay and
the team. It's were Delehay won his first ever West Coast Pro Mod
event. It's also were Delehay was crowned the 2006 West Coast Pro
Mod Association Champion. "Last year we won the race and the
championship at Race City" said Delehay. Delehay also has both
end of the Pro Mod track records with an elapsed time of 6.570
seconds and a top speed of 215.82 miles per hour.
"We are going to go out this weekend with
hopes to win the event and shatter the current track records"
said Crew Chief Ken Eisler. Eisler has been racing with Delehay for
over 23 years. "I dont think we would be were we are
performance wise if it wasnt for Eisler" said Delehay.
